After the opening prayers and the Nigeria National Anthem coordinated by Mr. Shodeinde, the WiWiH Competition and the preliminary contest was officially declared open by the competition Chief Judge, Mr. Ebenezer O. Akinrinade (a strategic member of the Royal Discovery Academy team; Project Director of African Resourceful Leaders Foundation), followed by the breakdown of rules and guidelines by the WiWiH Project Director, Mr. Yusuf Owolabi. He also gave practical examples by writing on the white marker board for contestants to have a clear understanding of what is expected.
